Kitetrips

On a regular basis, we organize kite trips to Isla Blanca, El Cuyo, San Felipe, and Sisal. During all tours, we come and pick you up in the lobby of your hotel in Playa del Carmen, Cancun or anywhere in the Riviera Maya. In a comfortable touristic van that counts with travel insurance and AC, we’ll bring you safely to the spot. Some trips are daily trips and some are for various days.

Any kitetrip can also be organized as a private trip – get in touch for more information and prices.

Sisal

Sisal

Sisal is around one-hour north-west of Merida. It is a seaport in the state of Yucatan. Its name originates from the agave-derived sisal fiber for which the area is famous for. The picturesque town invites to stroll through its streets. Sisal counts with various kilometers of virgin beaches. The water is shallow without waves which makes it the perfect spot for beginners and advanced riders. From Playa del Carmen it takes around 4 hours to get there.

San Felipe

San Felipe

San Felipe is like El Cuyo a small fisherman’s village in the Gulf of Mexico. The difference to El Cuyo is that the kite spots in San Felipe only can be reached via boat due to the reason that the Ria divides the village to the beaches. The beaches in San Felipe are virgins and uncrowded. There are some spots were flat water can be enjoyed. To visit San Felipe a minimum of 2 days is needed.

El Cuyo

El Cuyo

El Cuyo is a small fisherman’s village in the Gulf of Mexico around 2 hours away from Playa del Carmen. El Cuyo became famous with the locals in the last years because of its steady thermal winds. The sea in El Cuyo is choppy and some waves can be enjoyed. The local seafood tastes incredible and until today El Cuyo is a small authentic Mexican village. To El Cuyo day trips can be made, however, we normally go for at least 2 days.

Isla Blanca

Isla Blanca

Isla Blanca is a peninsula that lies around 20 minutes north of Cancun downtown. It’s a narrow stretch of land, on one side there’s the Caribbean Sea and on the other side a flatwater lagoon with shallow water. Depending on what you prefer you can kite on either side. Most people kite on the lagoon side due to the perfect conditions to improve your skills.
Isla Blanca is still a quite remote place, it is hard to get telephone signal and there are only few restaurants.
On this trip we normally bring food and beverages with us.
After a good kite session amazing sunset can be enjoyed.
Isla Blanca is a day excursion.
